1) Pre-Assemble all 6- bolt, washer and bushing Assemblies |
|
2) Place Transom forward of black motor mounts. the flat
transom plate should face aft and transom pad with loop should face
forward. |
|
3) Install first pair of bolt bushing assemblies into
floor motor mounts first. |
|
4) Align bolts with the holes in transom while sliding
bushing into black motor mount. This should be done with no air in the
floor so transom holes align easily. |
|
5) Screw the black plastic star nut on to the bolt the
extends on the forward side of transom. Finger tight is ok for now. Then
inflate floor air chamber. |
|
Align and install the next two bolt-bushing assemblies
closest to the floor and attach star nut finger tight. |
|
With the bottom 4 motor mounts installed inflate both port
and starboard air chambers enough to take shape. |
|
Align and install the last 2 bolt-bushing assemblies into
top motor mounts and transom. Attach star nuts and use a wrench to tighten
all 6 motor mount bolts and star nuts tight until the head of the white
bushing is pressed firmly against black motor mount bracket. |
|
Finish inflating entire boat to 4 PSI. Finishing installing
oars and accessories on the rest of the boat. Take note the water
drain on the aft air chamber just forward of the transom also looks like
an inflation valve. |
